Welcome to our website.

Kennel Bakkebo is located in the eastern Jutland, between Horsens and Juelsminde.

"The family" right now is 2 people (Tom og Susanne), 5 chows and one German Shepherd.

In 1989 we bought our first chow, and from that moment we were "lost" in chow-chows.

In 1991 Vestterp Lady Godiva - we call her Trunte - was a part of our family, and when we in 1993 started Kennel Bakkebo, Trunte became our first breeding-chow. Together with Yama Mr. President, she gave us 6 wunderful puppies, from where we - perhabs by chance - chose to keep a bitch: Bakkebo's Askepot.

Since we the same year had bought Pasjo's Mufas, the "foundation" in Kennel Bakkebo was made, and together with some very nice puppies, both Mufas and Askepot have given us a lot of unforgetable moments in the showrings around the world.

Both dogs have got the title International Champion, and a daughter from them (Bakkebo's Child of Cinderella, who also stayed with us) only needed one Cacib abroad to become this proud title too.
